From an annual compensation perspective, it still is an increment. But if your question is about bonus vs bonus, Jap banks are well known for their outsized bonuses and Western counterparts cannot compete on this front.

For myself, the base pay bump is critical to establish a higher baseline for my future jumps.

Thanks.
HR will have a range for consideration, HOD will decide within the range.

Different banks have different titles, dun look at the tile but look at the compensation instead. In the next job, HR will look at the previous compensation to decide and not your previous title.

Hi TS,

Just to give you a better perspective.

I just joined DBS as a AVP, drawing approximately 9k+.

My role is in back office with 10yrs of working experience (1st bank job though).

What matters most is that your salary should commensurate with your experience.

Hope this helps!

How much is your estimated annual remuneration package?
If compare to others 10 years experience back office, are you in upper, mid or lower tier?
