Yep with tech its the other way round. Govt IT salaries cannot keep up and lan lan have to increase to keep pace with private. That's why I encourage engineers to pivot to tech as soon as they can.

Need advice, received an offer for a field engineer role. Anyone got experience in this? Cant say company name, but its a semiconductor manufacturing company.
