Certs/degree etc are not even close to consider for someone to be a Subject Matter Expert.(SME).
Problem solving skills, curiosity, learning ability and work ethic are the major qualities for an engineer to be one. Sadly, very very few people possess them and these qualities cannot be taught.

Salary for Traffic Engineer/ Transport Planner
I'm a master's graduate in Transport Engineering (top 50 uni) with 3 years exp in Sg (overall 4 years).
what is the ideal salary range for someone like me?
Is 5 day (consultant)/ 5.5 days (contractor) pay would be different or is similar?

Sounds like some Taiwanese engineer cum conman.
Then they use empty water bottles to fill up their foundations.
After so many years, still no dip or degree.
