3months for covid year? On a good year should be 4months at least right?

Absolute bs. Avp ops in banks range is a mere 5k+ to a 7k+ with 0-2 months bonus tops. You are dreaming bruh. Do you know many many 3 year VPs are stuck at 9k+ in ops. Lol. Please do not exaggerate the pay scale of ops avps and VPs to sabotage some people to come in with the false hope.

Agree with this - local bank pay is not as high as what people has inflate them to be. Even AVPs in OCBC BO/MO can range from 5k onwards

Are you stupid? Stop acting like you are itk please. One simple search on mycareerfuture and validate with YOE and salary range you cannot do?
You think those stuck at a certain grade (regardless of position or industry) will only earn a fixed salary? There’s a salary scale/range for every level.

Dimwit, Career future gives you a range, BB ops increment can go as low as 1-3% for average performer. You obviously haven't been in a BB before.

Just to add, it seems that most ppl overestimate the ability to be promoted in BB MO/BO lmaoooo yall obv haven't worked for a BB at all and instead are blind-sided by hearsay or troll forummers or even some linkedin profiles. Yes, some ppl do get promoted steadily which explains why their profiles are so prominent on linkedin but behind all that, the majority don't!! Something to note rather than constantly hyping the whole 10k within 6-8 years story which doesn't apply to majority lmao

I am actually at a BB - what about yourself, “dimwit”? Average performer can expect ~7-8% increment on non-promotion years. If you are part of the graduate program, increment is close to 15% (2 or 3 year programme depending on which BB) & ~15-20% on promotion years.
To address your second post - if you are half decent, you will be able to reach VP in 8 years tops (whether that’s at the same BB or hopping to another BB/Foreign Bank. Btw, if you make VP in 8 years, your starting base will be higher than 10k, probably close to 11-12k. It’s by YOE, not necessarily by level.
Usually those who couldn’t get promoted are those who are not ambitious but still manage to get the job done (aka they are not severely underperforming). Even so, they are at the associate level whereby the salary ceiling can go up to 14k (again, depends on which BB). Stop acting like you’re itk pls, it’s disgusting.

This BB you are in, your father open one ah? LOL. ****ing joke. Associate ops ceiling cap 14k, making a fool of yourself. 7-8% average increment, you can continue lying to yourself. I've been in the finance industry for 8 years since grad, you can carry on lying to yourself, but i believe people here are not dumb enough to believe whatever you or anyone else posts here that easily.
