Any kind soul able to share what is the salary range for entering DBS at AVP level? Also how does the salary negotiation process go also.

What roles are available for a law grad with second lower honours?
I’m looking at compliance and risk? Or would I stand a chance in management Assoc roles?

I have 3 data points for DBS AVP. Like all levels, there is a wide range for salary depending on your role, FO/MO/BO. A friend of mine in BO (newly promoted AVP) got about 7.5k, another in MO (with PhD) also earned about that amount. I earned about 9.5k before i left. These figures are accurate as of 2019.

Hi I’m currently in ops(trade support) with a BB. Recently got offered a digital engagement role in a local bank where I have to generate trading reports and ideas and participate in seminars etc.
Hoping for the more experienced people here to advise if I should make the switch.

Only move if the pay is significantly better. The new role sounds like a dead end job.
