Don't worry about automation you dimwits. BBs like GS, JPM, with extremely high trading volume still using very ancient systems. Word of automation has been going on for the longest fcuking time. Back office functions getting outsourced to India? Heard that one before and also heard the functions moving back to SG because the ops in India are ****.

I sit on trade floor for some may call a BB. And my risk system is a piece of 40 year old junk. So before you jackasses go on and on about automation replacing jobs in bo/mo/FO, if there's 0 cost involved, sure, we would have seen an exodus of banking employees. As far as I know, process are being improved, but no, nothing is taking over humans yet. At least for banks.

I'm sorry, but just because your 'BB' sucks doesn't mean the rest suck too.
if I were you, i'd reconsider the long term prospects of the firm.
and on the way out, you might want to get ready some tech skills if you want to join another BB.
