goldman has 2 offices. 1 at raffles link and 1 at anson mapletree. How are they split? Am offered a role in MO. Will i be located in same office as FO? Is it easier to network with FO this way?

Had the opportunity to move to another foreign bank FO thankfully with connections. Almost impossible to move to FO within GS and even if you do, you will get lowballed badly.

MTA for ops, Raffles Link for FO. No chance to meet.

Could you share what kind of FO role you moved into?

What's so good about 5k in BB ops? Long term prospect still sucks. I joined a boutique buy side as investment analyst with same starting salary but bonus much more than 3 months. Job is much more interesting with better prospect. To fresh grads, don be blinded by the 5k salary unless you want to condemn yourself to brainless repetitive work. Within a few years your peers from other roles industires can catch up easily with much more interesting job scope.

Not everyone has the ambition to buy bungalows and sports cars la dey. Ops grad 5k, average hentak at VP/ED at 15k-20k 3 mths bonus with much lesser stress and better WLB to boot, why not?
Suitable for people like me who don’t like to drink/smoke with clients/bosses or be on call 24/7. Yea I admit, I am not a finance hardo. Comfortable life without sacrificing too much, good enough for me and tbh for most people imo.

Yes. Look at long term prospects instead of your current base salary
