Is bank VP a mid manager? I know someone who is an engineering VP in one of the big public transport company and definitely earn more than 300k pa..

For local banks yes. No way a local bank vp gets 300k, even 200k is not guaranteed but only for the higher level vps. Titles in local banks are grossly inflated.

International banks FO VPs starts at 240k base with bonuses typically 50-100%

Largely depends on what type of corporates you're servicing. SMEs are small fry so bonus will be lower. Wholesale corporates are where the money is. Rather service one Fortune 500 than 500 SMEs. Or better still, work for a Fortune 500!

Whats the avg bonus like for wholesale corporates RM in local banks?

How come my friend in DBS RM say he earn 5k,if hit target will get 7.5k? Any one know what exact role is it?
