I don't think you should take our words as it is even if we tell you everything you said is true.
Instead, I suggest you see for your self and verify. Go to changi business park or mbfc after 8~9pm at night and see how many people come out of the building. Spoiler: it's alot of ppl.

Everything is relative ma... An increment of around 3k from current job. Current job is quite chill and stress free. Worth the move?

One of my close relatives works in UOB now. Yes, they had been a poor paymaster and a toxic work environment but not anymore.
He was hired in as a SVP and rose thru the rank to a MD now.
MD base is around 800k excluding on target/bonuses. So it is slightly more than 1M
ED is 400k and thats why when people are at ED, they are damn hungry to fight for the nexr jump.
SVP is 20ish to 30k. About wat you quoted

With the exception of front office roles, the pay of local banks for VP and above ranks attractive in any mid to back office role.

This
local banks are a joke, the only reason they're profitable is because they're the only banks that we have in Singapore
if JP Morgan or Citibank were to establish the same number of ATMs that DBS has in SG, provide overseas support and many more, they will completely destroy our local banks after 10-20 years as more foreigners with ties to banks outside of SG come in.
