If I'm not mistaken.. The range is about the same across all the PHI, regardless of the cluster. Even the medical benefits, AL are also the same..

Salary wise, don't expect too much for AHP and admin side.. Yearly increment $100 plus.. There is salary revision on average once every 5 years but don't expect a huge increment.. At the end of the day, its still public healthcare which has to be kept affordable, money has to come from somewhere for the pay rise.

Oh yea, for sure. $100-200 AI, ~4% just to keep up with inflation and some pocket change. This recent salary enhancement (SE) was also not very major, 3-7% only. Probably some catch-up to keep things a bit more competitive and catch up with inflation too lol. Though I got a nice bump, seeing as my promotion coincided with the SE too.

That's right.. If you want a iron rice bowl like health care industry.. I would suggest joining civil service instead, better pay increment and bonuses than healthcare for sure..

Yeah I think civil service or stat boards are quite solid. But based on what I understand from friends/fellows there, my annual package is quite comparable. And at the moment, I have a really good team and boss. With 2 promos in 2.5 yrs, I think my long term trajectory is looking good. Can put job change on back burner for now.

I started 4.5 yrs ago at $3.3K gross. Graduated with merit from NUS (only did 3 years, did not pursue honours), with NS.

Yes it very much depends on your cluster/hospital and dept management. For my hospital, most people gets 15.5 months annual package. Promotion is very slow for my dept.

Anybody know if the RH will send their candidates for the Master of Public health by NUS? What are the requirements?

Also, if self-sponsored, will there be any salary increments?

If so, any changes in salary and career trajectory?
