Hey hey this is the AHP (and hospital admin) thread. We're broke girls (and guys) here.
There's a thread somewhere else in this forum for doctors who're bickering if GPs are underpaid at $10k a month

Based on the previous posts, I am assuming that most local uni grads will hit the 100k annual compensation after about 7-8 years?
This is actually not too bad since the average monthly is above median already.
I was expecting most to be underpaid after many years (every now and then many complaints on social media about salary)

No.... that's definitely not true
How old are you and what's your role? Feels like astroturfing is happening here
5k x 15 months (that's if you're getting A, otherwise less) is 75k. Where is the 100k?

I think you misunderstand. The person who said 7-9k as their dream salary when asked what is a good salary. That is not an actual salary.
If anyone earnning 7-9k in 7 to 8 years please share your role. I will also want to change roles.

I'm only hitting $90K at my 9th year. Probably can only hit $100K in another 2 to 3 years time. You can only $100K at earlier years if you are a high flyer.

12 months plus 1 months AWS plus 3.X months of bonus
Multiply that 6.X.
Total should be at least 100k

Assuming the person earns $5000, 16 months pay package is only $80K.
And not all PHI pays a 16 months annual, singhealth annual package never exceeds 16 months for B graders, only A graders get 16 months.
