JG17, probably hit salary cap long time ago (14+k).
He comes in anytime or dont come in at all, do minimum clinical work (maybe less than 1 day for the entire week).
Most of the time he is focused on "educational" work which is basically forward email ask who want to do talks/workshops/media.
He should be around 60yo and drives a conti car.
Everyone respects him including senior management and ceo.
Life is really good and that is my career aspiration.
I would reckon he earns more than in private and works much less and with much more status and respect. But to get to his level, he has to tahan years of low pay (he told me his starting pay less than 2k), buracracy, people management, red tapes, etc.

I know one JG17.. whole day on .. probably only work less than half the time. Super good life.

She is the old school kind of sup.
Now that im the team lead, I come in anytime i want, as long as it does not affect clinical work.
If my first patient starts at 9am, i come in at 8.55am.
I can come in anytime and nobody can question me because i have many meetings.
I told my staff the same. I trust them and they can come in or go off anytime as long as it does nkt affect their clinical work.
Just dont over do it and they are fine.
Geberally people appreciate and not abuse this.

Sadly.. I won't never be able to reach this kind of position. I'm just destined to be a JG 13 AHP saikang minion

That is all in, they dont have bonus.
Annum is around 96k to 180k.
This referring people who join private as staff (not boss of clinics), and get a commision based pay (that will give the highest pay).
In phi, assuming average performer with 16mths package.
If you have 5k at JG12, 5x16 = 80k.
JG 13, 6k, 6x16 = 96k which coincides with lower end of private.
Bearing in mind you have more trainings, conferences, paid leaves, etc.
JG 14, 7k, 7x16 = 112k
JG 15, 9k, 9 x16 = 144k
Cap of JG16, 13k, 13 x16 = 208k, will exceed private higher end.
And you have much lesser work, more autonomy.
Bearing in mind, if private comission based, as you get older, you see less patients due to tiredness and will earn less.
I would see it as long term vs short term.
First 5 to 10 years definitely private pays better.
10 to 15 years tide will turn
Beyond 15 years phi should be better.
Hope this helps current struggling ahps in phis

Does private gets the same amount of bonus like in PHI?
Sadly I can't go down this route as I'm not a patient fronting AHP.

Lol again no more budget..
Do you know roughly how many percent?
I'm not too hopeful cos back in 2016, I got about 7% then drop to 5% in 2021. I had a feeling that the more senior you are, the lesser is your adjustment. So meaning to say I will probably be getting a measly 3% salary adjustment next year.

This is for patient fronting clinician.
Comission based earn the most but no bonus.
They get a cut from the work they do.
Some got bonus but fixed pay.
Private they will sqeeuze you dry. Make sure you are worth the pay.
