Singapore's 21.5km North-South Corridor to be Up and Ready in 2026 which is Singapore's first expressway to pull in dedicated bus lanes and biking route. The project was initially declared as vehicular expressway to be up and running by 2020, but it was ultimately adjusted last January, that the main road be built as Singapore's first interconnected transport corridor.

This new expressway will have main roads with three lanes for quick bus service, for cycles and pedestrian paths on surface. Vehicles will thread subway and there will be pedestrian and pedaling paths throughout the 21.5km surface area of expressway.

The project is established to link the north towns to the city in the next months and anticipates for invitation to tender for projected corridor. The prima building for the first coordinated transport corridor on the expressway will come out in 2017, as mentioned by the Land Transport Authority (LTA).

As a solution, travel from north towns like Ang Mo Kio, Woodlands and Sembawang will be scaled down by up to 30 mins erstwhile it is completed in 2026.
