How do i get in eagle service asia?. Is a degree in aerospace enough? Cause currently I have an option to become an LAE with SIAE but with a training of 28months before I become a LAE. During training there is an allowance of $2500 for 28months. Of course I have taken all my CAAS papers and cleared M2 to M17. Between I'm on a B1 track. just curious also whats the starting salary in SIAEC once I become an LAE with no experience?

Anyone tried applying ST AERO or BOMBARDIER LAE Trainee programme this year? How much are they offering you?

Continuing from this post, IIRC it was around 2.3k to 3k (up by $500 from the original payscale) (Still lower or same as your technicians' basic pay). People need to understand that mros are having a hard time finding hands and legs on the ground, yeah the Pinoys and Chinese are going to places which pays well, the leftovers have no choice as they either brought their family here or probably sign some bond with their agency. So how do they fill the gap? By hiring you guys, withholding your whatever interviews, license approval and etc. so that you can work as hands and legs. If you like hands-on job, welcome! Else think again.
I do not know about siaec as they used to have a strong line of trainee technicians to work as hands and legs. Maybe someone can commend about the current situation there.

There are no more intake for LAE training program for SIAEC. The only path to be LAE in SIAEC is via the SIT Aircraft System Engineering

Im a guy who graduated Local U at 25yo.
Joined SIAEC as an APPRENTICE.
$2500 flat for 4 years.
Passed out as LAE 29yo.
$3300 monthly.
(Basic $2620, the rest are allowances)
(Any bonus would be based on basic salary)
5 years bond ending, 34yo, with children now.
$4300 (basic 2.9, plus more aircraft type licences)
Last 5 years only receive 0.84 month of bonus only.
Increment only gave for 2 yrs.
(Increment and bonuses have been frozen fyi)
Highly not recommended.
