Need advise
Hi all,
I am 28 male.
Education:
lower second class BSc, major computing & information systems.
Earning:
2850 per month
2 months bonus
Job:
3 years in current company
Application Consultant (doing a little bit of everything)
I'm thinking of taking Java certification but after some research, found that Java is quite common, might not be worth it, but my company will pay for my course though. Not sure if they will increase my salary.
I am seriously thinking of specializing in something but just not sure which one to go for. My interest is software development.
Would appreciate any advise.

Since the course is company sponsored why don't you go for it?

Hi, thanks for the reply.
So I am looking at this certification,
Java Standard Edition 5 and 6, Certified Associate Exam - CX-310-019
I would prefer to take only the exams i.e. self-study and go for exam.
Anyone recommend a place to take that exam in Singapore?
I'm still looking around the web to find a place.

Please disregard the question as I have found the place to register i.e. Prometric Services: Testing and Assessment
