Kaplan or SIM
Which course is more recognized?
Kaplan(Murdoch) Econs and finance SIM(RMIT) Econs and finance |
why don't you consider SIM-UOL?
imo murdoch and RMIT aren't exactly well-regarded even in australia. |
cause it seems to be quite tough. I want to know from an employer's point of view. Does it have any difference?
i mean after all, we are all private students. nothing much to glorify. So i just wanted to see if it really affects the pay or does it have any preferential treatment to have either one of the degrees! |
If there was a 'ranking' for private grads, SIM-UOL would probably take the top spot. The rest are quite roughshod. UOL at least maintains a certain standard in their grading system.

If you're looking at private (SMEs), then no, hardly any difference. If you're looking at MNCs, then yes, there will be difference as well. It varies especially from the industry you're interested in. |
Well I'm actually looking for a job in a bank, would that make a difference?

Word of advice, most banking jobs are highly competitive and stressful (regardless FO, Middle or back end). If you're not prepared to even consider SIM-UOL simply because you think it's harder to study, you might reconsider your ambition to enter a bank. |
