UniSIM and SIT

They will be offering full time programmes next year. Would it be a gd choice to enroll in their new programmes as pioneer batch? I am planning to study acountancy.

i've seen the current unisim prog structure b4, seems not bad. if im not wrong, KPMG and many other acct firms co-develop the prog.

but if you can, go for ntu 3-yr direct honours. i was from ntu accountancy, its a good prog. :)

Thanks!

Sadly, my Poly GPA not good enough. Well, regrets always come too late…?

I checked out the latest news, UniSIM new courses open to both A levels and Diploma. Hmm, more competition for that limited amount of seats :(

Waiting for SIT to release the details.

oh, how many places are they offering?

you should try applying to ntu accountancy too, they take in avg 600 students yearly, some are via discretionary admissions.

I remember the news stated 200 vacancies.

Not sure of that. My GPA is only 3.21…

can seriously consider the UniSIM's one.

from Today:
"In the meantime, UniSIM has at least 14 auditing firms — including the Big Four: Deloitte, Ernst and Young, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers — and 38 other businesses on board as work attachment partners."

Yes, very tempting. But the admission process is my concern

from Today:
"Securing a spot in one of SIM University’s (UniSIM) new full-time degree programmes next year will mean passing a three-part admission process — watching a video and submitting an essay about it, followed by one-on-one and group interviews, and concluding with a reflection essay."

interviews...ahhh !

SIT has yet to reveal any details right ?

To be honest, I think Unisim might be a better option than SIT. They have abt 8 years experience afaik and have current pt progs resources to tap on and already established links with certain industry orgs, whereas SIT has no local progs experience and their current progs contents are all based on overseas unis.

My younger bro is interested, I will acc him if they have open houses.

I'd go with SIT. It's fully public after all.
