Default Studies/Work after ORD?

1 more year to go and I will ORD already. But then I still don't know if I should work or study 1st. Supposedly if I choose the career path, I have no idea what to work as...

However, as for this studies path, I am unsure of what to study as well. My GPA is not good enough for me to enter NTU/NUS/SMU. Well, I have thought of studying accountancy in either SIM-UOL/ACCA, but yet at the same time I fear it could be a wrong choice.

Sigh...

Learn a niche skill like cooking or designing. In today's marketplace, qualifications ain't the be all and end all anymore. Rather, if you have a special skill set which nobody has, you're more likely to succeed due to lesser competition. Plus if you're so good at what you're doing, you'll probably earn more than others.

Alternatively is to start your own business. Try and try until you succeed. Start small, with whatever you have. Treat failure as something you will encounter, but learn from it. After few years of successful business, you can then try to study business/acct courses in local uni (opting for the mature candidate route) to strengthen your knowledge coupled with your experience.
