Is IE SMU blended program worth it?
Hello all,
I have been in Singapore for a year now.I have 10 years of experience in IT . I was looking at part time MBA programs here in Singapore. I managed to get into the IE-SMU blended program. Will this degree help me with career progression? How do i improve on my networking skills? Any feedback and info is appreciated. |

I've just gotten the offer letter and am highly likely going to enroll.
Anyone here going for the same program? Happy to take question relating to the enrollment too. :) |
Local university MBA holders, anyone has any success story to share?
Is it worthwhile to do a Part time local mba? Or just wait till 10 years of work experience and do the executive mba which is part time by default?? |

Does accounting count as specialised? Pardon the pun |
I recently got admitted into top 3 US MBA (Wharton, Harvard, Stanford) that costs SGD$250k for two years. Will definitely have to take a significant loan to attend.
I understand that salaries in Singapore are also depressed compared to US so it might a number of years to repay the investment placed into it. I would like to ask if anyone has a similar experience and can advise on on whether it will be worth it to attend if goal is to be back in Singapore due to family (probably be back in private sector in consulting, hedge fund/ pe, tech). Thanks in advance! |
