Which degree? Economics or Business Management
I am going to smu economics but I fear it might be a better choice to go business management and major in finance.
Yet I fear business management will be too competitive with large number graduating each year. Able to shine in this degree would be hard.
In poly I studied aeronautical engineering but I don't see myself in that industry.
Anyone kind enough to share their view on this 2 degrees and their prospect?

I graduated in Economics in 1996. If u are the sort who likes to analyse historical scenarios, modelling, have interest in why variations in demand n supply changes price, volume etc, n relate well to how the world's economic policies will affect lifes, do economics. Its fairly theory in uni to give u the grounding. Otherwise, do biz mgmt. I see biz mgmt as being more generic. As a first degree, both can get u an entryblevel job into the commercial world.

second to that... My younger sis also went for BBM (Major in Finance), because she said that BBM is a more generic biz degree
