Dilemma - advice needed

Hi

I need an advise.

I have been offered IT intern role by 3 different companies for 4.5 months: GovTech, Munich Re and Accenture

But I am unsure on which offer to accept.

Should i work in GovTech or one of the above MNC?

Monthly stipend wise, govtech is paying me almost more than double of what both the mnc's has to offer and is fully work from home. (my spending habit is that i am rather conservative)

accenture is only paying a 100$ more than what munich re is offering tho. Both are about less than or equal to half of what govtech is offering.

Workload wise munich re might be slightly relaxed compared to govtech and accenture but is partially occasionally work from home - might need to go onsite twice a week.

Accenture on the other hand can't confirm yet if its onsite or wfh.

Any advice on which company should I choose. Is the mnc branding name important for future prospects? I know that the government agency names in SG are always changing few years down the road lol.

Which one would you all recommend me to choose?

Really in a dilemma. Pls advice. Thanks

I would advise you to grab the GovTech job as fast as you possibly can. The reason being that: They are paying very well compared to the other two companies you listed. Also, you can easily work from home, which to me is an advantage.

I am a primary school teacher, and I am currently working from home because of the covid-19, and I can tell you, I am enjoying every bit of it.

Just go with the GovTech. That's my humble opinion.

You should get the GovTech job.

The issue with tech-related jobs is that it's not so much the company you're working for but the projects available for you to work on.

I don't know much about the other 2, but i know that Govtech currently has many many interesting projects. I also heard that they hired many high performers with many years of experience overseas (there was a recruitment drive to try and attract talent back hom a couple of years ago - you can fact check this).

Based on this information, and assuming that the other 2 companies dont have as interesting projects and/or talent, my suggestion would be Govtech.

At entry level - the fact that it pays you well should be a bonus, but not your main consideration.

Being able to work on exciting projects and learn from talented seniors should be your first consideration....

and if you dont know what projects the companies are working on or whom you'll be working for (plus their experience)... then my suggestion is that to start doing your homework.

This is informative enough to answer the question.
