What he shared is a system related info and what others shared was their personal increment and they might just troll

I don't think it's correct bcoz AWS should be calculated only after adding in the MDR increment. to the current basic salary

HR should be more proactive in providing the formula rather than letting people second guess. Errors do happen, even in CS (e.g. s://.businesstimes.com.sg/government-economy/singapore-civil-servants-underpaid-by-s10m-due-to-hr-errors). Else how to check for accuracy?

annual package as in fix(sure get) or there will be variable like bonus

If included rebased AWS from start of year then,

Amount received = 3 months AWS on previous salary + 2 months AWS on new salary with MDR + 2 months MDR
Amount received = 3/12 * prevSalary + 2/12 * (newSalary + MDR) + 2 * MDR

Copy this into wolframalpha.com, replace amountReceived prevSalary and newSalary, and the solution for x is your MDR

amountReceived = 3/12 * prevSalary + 2/12 * (newSalary + x) + 2 * x
