Cant even get their ACTS together...
Now salary does not take into considerations certifications, and upskillings? And yet wants staff to make "impact" to overall govtech achievements. Also to fold every mdr, competencies variables into a black box is a risk to all the staff since when paycut comes in recession, the 10% cut is across the board and on your base salary, whereas, previously the 10% cut is on the base salary exclude mdr and variables. This simplicity is actually non beneficial to everyone, but for the purpose of mgmt to hire magnificent staff in at a premium rate.
This is like gone case, cause for private sector, clocking of training hours are mandatory and PIP are for the cmi staff so that the outcome of the entire organisation can be achieved and aligned. Principals and vendors are forced to sharpen their skills and competency on their own products and services. Govt avoid overpaying is because of own lousy contract and master contracts and project management skills, in-sourcing is just an excuse to someone kpi.
Yet, this new bunch of top mgmt wants to in-source, as if they can sustain a continuous "always deepened" staff strength to combat their ambitious of "product driven capabilities". Those who are hired at the point in time, will be competent and degrade in skills over the years. Eventually the whole organisation will be back to square one.
The mgmt individuals also are speaking not in alignment and "dreaming" about their vision. End day, after a 5 years terms, the scale the CE did at CSIT cannot be fully replicated at a large level, all the KPIs will be changed again on the next incoming CE with all these "SWE" BS.

Im happily doing cross division communication so that's an achievement. They have to migrate all the distributed slack histories so its not just start a fresh new account and call it a day.

Which champion suggest simplify the pay?
Now going to have US self inflicted recession , follows by mexico 2 years recession. follows by increase in inflation.
Govt has rights to cut 10% of base pay for all public service during crisis. Encapsulating mdr, variables, cpb into base pay as a black box means the entire base salary is subject to 10% cut.
So stupid to accept this BS.
30 specific roles consolidated into 2 roles. It goes to show the entire top management teams cant get their acts together, every year change kpi, change this and that. End day, the entire org become like an alien that i cant even recognise.
