i was invited by an external HR consulting firm to attend an interview at govtech for a program manager/ engagement manager role (contract; 1 yr)
would like to ask if anyone knows:
1. what are the odds for contract extension after 1 year? how many years can the contract be extended before the staff "expires"?
2. do such external hire staff still get the full govtech benefits? such as bonus, promotions, etc.?
3. what are the odds for such staff to turn permanent and be "hired under govtech" rather than the third party firm?
thank you.

Confirm who you are hired under(whos paying your cpf and salary directly). Is it the consultancy or is it govtech.
Im assuming as consultancy(augmented manpower) here.
1. Whenever GT feels like it. No limits here on doing it forever or cutting it short premature.
2. No
3. No. At least between both direct parties.
If you are hired under con

You’ll be surprised how often she can piss people off over emails too

Where do we even start? Got word count limit or not?
Let’s start by how she managed to hire her own cronies from her ex company even before she joined officially? The shady hiring is next level

It’s obvious that she has her favorites. Her demeanor towards those she likes vs those she don’t is night and day, heaven and hell. So either you bend a knee or face the wrath

Thanks for replying (:
You're right about being hired under HR consultancy; salary & cpf will be from the consultancy.
I see. No full benefits such as promotions/ bonus and being unable to turn perm or to be hired under GT direct. Pretty demoralizing.
Do you think it's worth to join in such a case?
It is a position for 6-8 yrs of experience.
