DEP voting on adopting career framework could be easily scammed. Anyone can vote using email addresses of their colleagues because there is neither email verification nor email acknowledgment for submission even though both can be easily turned on using form.sg Can each one of the voters be notified of their submission to confirm their submission is authentic? A revote with email verification will be even better and convincing.

I also wonder why 50 ppl who didn’t make any vote in the past one month suddenly voted in favour of adopting career framework over the weekend. If all the votes are authentic, I have no issue with the result. Otherwise, the whole group of people may just be unfairly gamed by a small bunch of individuals who manipulated result. Fair voting please.

Why do you think it’s not possible? what I heard is different. 20 ppl who voted no in first round switched to yes on Monday.

They should ask internal audit to hack the application before launch.

Pros
Pay decently, colleagues are nice, work is meaningful and varied

Cons
Management change is making everyone life's hard. New bosses who seems to be more traditional and reverting back to pre-covid days

Advice to Management
Listen to the ground and keep our progressive culture. Make decisions so that we can move forward rather than get trap in the cycle of changes.

Autonomy
Cross-functional skills
Grow horizontally and wearing multiple hats
Work life balance


Cons
Starting to become TOP heavy (Inverted pyramid)
Many senior PERM staffs lose touch with tech leaving the engineers to take up all the responsiblilties and work
Engineers hit glass ceiling quickly and it is hard to climb up the corporate ladder


Advice to Management
Seen many young talents and engineers who left for better opportunities.
Environment is not as fast-paced, exciting, innovative as before.
Starting to become and turn into traditional agencies
