Once 2yrs reaching if no conversion or promotion to perm then i just dont renew contract.

Is there difference for perm or contract?

I heard contract staff is hard to get promotion compared to perm staff.

No such things, here I got 1 contract swe converted to permanent after 1 year and promoted at the same time, worst thing is I don't think the swe is performing well at all.

Swe is very lucky, do u know if this person signed initially 1 year contract or 2 year contract with GovTech? I’m with 2 year contract now and will be reaching my first year this year.
