GovTech, CSA and defence trio ( DSTA/ DSO/CSIT) are pegged to 60th percentile (p60) of Mercer tech industry salary benchmark. HR indicated that govt will follow market trends to adjust tech compensation, but will not be a market leader so don't expect top of the range p80 or p90 salary.

Sadly they are paying good for fresh but not mid-senior level folks, hence many people are leaving

Anyone knows if the benchmark takes into account of the RSU? If you look at the stats from levels.fyi, most of the them in the upper percentiles consists of a high percentage of it, which Govtech obviously cannot give.

Was referring to GT's benchmark since i wasnt sure if they would discount RSU in their own formula.
