Anyone can share hows the bonus structure like in DSO?
Also heard from a friend that joined DSO from another company, that the increment offered was very little? What are your experiences?

Very similar amount of increment to DSTA. Approx 200-300 a year.

Technical focus of DSO
For companies like DSTA and GovTech, I've heard that their technical skills aren't really up to standard and are mainly doing PM work (just a sweeping statement of course). How about DSO? Are the engineers/researchers there doing deeper technical work? Heard from engineers in DSTA and GovTech that they aren't learning much technical knowledge and are rotting...

Stop listening to tunnel vision people.
There's no need for that level of expertise in-house.
They can engage consultants or academia or contractors.
They learning management of science and technology.
