Ive been in the FM industry for abt 20yrs, with a relevant private diploma and wud like to apply as a lecturer, current gross ard 4.2, how much shud i seek for? And with my 20yrs relevant experience with only diploma, i can apply as a lecturer or senior lecturer? A helpful advice will be kind, thanks

It would be good if you have a degree.

Minimum edn qualification for primary school teacher is a degree.

The HR will email you the necessary information. They will choose a topic relate to your Job Description (JD) which you applied for. For example, if you are applying for lecturer in engineering. They will give you a topic related to engineering. Need to search online and prepare the slides yourself.

I applied in May 2024, the presentation and interview will be in July 2024. Praying that everything will be smooth for me.

Did you get any further interviews or response after the presentation?
I have the same timeline as you but the last I checked with HR some weeks ago, they are still reviewing.

My guess is they are conducting background screening and it will be 2-3 months before they offer as screening takes a while (based on previous experience).

Hi there,

Yes, I went for the campus tour 2 days after my presentation. Currently pending HR to contact me to discuss on the salary and other package. I understand that we are required to go for body check-up as well.

I’ve given my presentation but HR says they’re still reviewing.
Have not gone for campus tour yet.
I guess it’s a waiting game for me.
