Very long, sometime 3days before you start work too. Don't resign until you have received the formal letter of offer.

Sorry, this is my first time as I had joined NUS in the middle of last year. Where do you check this?

I received a ME from my RM but is this increment supposed to be reflected in my payroll information?

I think it depends on whether your RM will inform you prior to payroll date. I am still waiting for news though.
