I have applied for the full-time research assistant position at NUS. Can anyone share info on the salary package for RA here? Is there any huge diff in terms of workloads and salary between Research Assitant and Associate?

Yep, Associate much higher. But also very much depends on your PI's funding.

Does anyone know what kind of working visa a foreign RA at NUS is likely to hold? I mean EP or Spass?

Hi, i’m a fresh grad and interviewed for an assistant manager position. salary range indicates 4k and above.
but i think i indicated expected salary 3.5k in my application. assuming i get the offer, anyone knows whether HR may opt to offer a lower starting pay that’s below 4k?

It’s better to have no AWS as this will mean that the monthly income will be higher

Nope, NUS salary is fair and they do not gain by lowering your salary. I would say NUS pays well to retain top talent. This is how they can be the #1 university.

Mid-career entrants
Is NUS a good place for mid-career entrants?
Also, do they have separate HR department for all the different faculty, or is there a centralise HR, anyone knows?
I wonder if one interview for one position, would other departments have access to the interview records? Would references submitted for one job be accessible for another job application?
