Fresh grad joining NUS in their prog they paying $4k?

Heard of grade E7. What does it mean? Pay scale as?

Anyone knows how long does HR takes to complete the administrative process for hiring?

With the closure of yale-nus, what will happen to the staff? Will they be transferred to another department within the university?

How is ntu pay structure compared to nus?

If I'm not wrong, ntu still pays 13th month, but nus doesn't.

Any idea about the pb ? Is it similar to ntu?

I heard PB cut by a lot recently.. Due to covid..

Both universities cut their bonus.. But I heard nus cut quite a bit.. Last time can get up to 3 months.. Nowadays probably 1 month or lesser..

hi guys, thinking to join either NUS or NTU and have secured interviews with both. in the event i am offered the position for either uni, which uni is better to join in terms of benefits? will be joining as Assistant Manager.

i have read all the previous pages of this thread and understand that:

1) NUS do not pay 13th month but NTU does

2) NUS should be paying a higher Performance bonus maybe ~2 months, NTU ~1 month

3) increment should be more and less same for both uni.

4) how about benefits? any flex benefit, number of leave etc?

Asst manager - 3k to 5k
manager/Senior manager - 5k to 10k
Associate Director/Senior Associate Director 10k to 15k
Director - 15k to 30k

Can anyone advise on what the typical internal promotion/progression looks like if I were to join as an Assistant Manager? Or is this highly dependent on each individual department? Many thanks!

How much was the PB for the last few years?

PB is actually pretty good in NUS. ME is about 1-2 months, EX is about 2-4 months. Since they do not have AWS, they probably adjust their PB accordingly.

Annual increment is about 3-5% for the past few years. For promotion, double digit %.

Lol please don't anyhow mislead people lar. I used to work in NUS many years back. NUS where got pay so much bonus.. The most I heard for A grade was 3 months max and that was like more than 10 years ago.. With covid situation, PB definitely cut by a lot.

Don't bluff and mislead others! You definitely don't work for NUS! In a normal year, we never get so much PB and increment. PB probably 1-2 months. Increment 1%-3%.
