Since you work at edu side, and still have 9.2k for just 10 years of working exp, is considered very very very very good, confirmed top 20%.

But in edu, be prepared 10k is a very expensive range, and your ceiling is likely 12-13k. Unless there is a bigger rank opening and you can proceed.

How much as a associate director make per month? 16K is too high?

Associate Director is ranging 10-12k range most of the time....
The more senior AD, might be 13 or 14, but are rare.

I applied an AD role in NUS. My current draw is 15K, plus AWS and VB around 2 mth. When I fill in the application form, I indicate that my expected annual salary is 225K. I passed all 3 rounds interview and this Friday, HR will contact me to discuss the package.

Since they don't have AWS, I will ask for basic salary 15Kx13/12=16.3K plus 2 mths sign-on bonus.

if faculty interested to proceed to hire after the interview, they will only formally offer after the NUS HR side complete the necessary background checks on the likely one????
