I think they're being honest. I got a written offer but an hour later HR called to update that the role has been recalibrated to a much lower rank. I suspect the dept ran out of budget 😂

aft the 17 Oct interview, 2 to 3 weeks timeline to wait for decision if offered or buang.

to wait for the interview outcome is just so stressed

mines was like that thus far with that hiring faculty

round 1 do interview on Zoom.
they see me like ok, then ask me come back to do round 2 in person about 1 week after.

since then been waiting coming to about 2 weeks.

if the faculty interested to hire
make sense they will await NUS HR office check ok liao then notify the applicant?

if the hiring faculty interested to proceed, they will only formally offer after the NUS HR side complete the necessary background checks on the likely one????
