EP3 is not 8-12k, this was the range some years back. The current range is more like 9k+ to 13k.
Comparison to MX8/9 is also not fair as total package is significantly different. MX8/9 total package is usually ~20 months whereas Grade 2/1 normally goes for 15-16 months only. Also selected positions in MX8/9 level are entitled to special bonuses on top of the normal publicize ones that can potentially add another 2-3 months on top of 20 months. |

hi i just got a job as Executive Professional Grade 6 as a recent grad..
is this a dead end job for me? like i am not even sure if this is what i wanna do in the long run. Not too sure if I can switch out next time and if my experience working in the uni will count as a professional experience. |

Read this whole forum thread carefully from start to end - NUS admin isn't a place to start your career, its a place to go when you are in the next phase of your life, and prioritize life outside work instead. It is the opposite of a dynamic, challenging and innovative environment. And once you get used to such a place, it will be difficult to go work somewhere else since the culture shock will be too great. You might not know what you wana do in the long run, but I can safely assure you that working in NUS admin side isn't it. Maybe when you are 50 plus, and you want to take it easy and drop a few gears after working hard your whole career, consider NUS. |

anyone knows the ballpark perf. bonus for EP3? 2 months?
|
Bonus Eligibility in NUS
If someone tenders in end December 2018 and bonus is given out in mid January 2019, will he or she still be awarded bonus given that the last physical day of work is in end January 2019?

what would be the typical PB for an avg performer in the EP3 band? 2 months? |
Not sure about E3. For E5 it's slightly more than 2 months for avg but depend on dept.
|
does anyone have answer to this?
|
Does anyone know how long it takes to receive an offer after the last round of interview?
|
Fresh grad will go in as what grade?
What would be the market pay to ask for? |
Anyone working in nus now or previously can share their experience?
How much should a fresh graduate ask? |

Feeling kinda low, not sure should take or not. reason quoted - covid period taking 10% cut from their usual range. NUS 2nd upper FASS fresh grad here |

They do require a degree. They also state they want someone with min 2 years experience so maybe I didn't fulfil that criteria hence the salary, I'm not sure actually. - J |
Worked in NUS for about a year, HR told me bonus average 2, at least 1.5. Didn't get it though, was like 0.smth. Was a little disappointed.

My first job after i grad with a hr degree was only 2k lol. The rate for fresh grad hr is around 2.3 (good case scenario) as hr dont really need a degree to be one. Most of us compete for positions that states: -Requirements: "O level/grad diploma/a levels/ post grad/degree." Pay range starts around 1.9 to 2.5. 2.5 is the rare ones.. If the exact same position with the same duties and if its under stat board or lets say hospital and school etc, most likely is around 2.9 to 3.1 for fresh grad (totally no experience kind). Reason being, public sector will still segregate accordingly. U can find hr position that requires max o level cert and some will say minimally degree (same as the one u mentioned earlier). I've been working on 3 contract position. 200x (private sector) jump to 230x (government sector) jump to 280x (government sector). Lastly, a IT fresh grad pay would be a HR assistant manager/manager salary. |
