It has always been the case many years ago. HR mentioned the 13th month is already incorporated into your yearly package.

NUS is a not for profit organisation.. They can't pay you high salary. The only ones getting high pay are the academic staff, the school needs to pay them well otherwise the blockbuster profs will not come to NUS to do research and teach.

No AWS and bonuses are really little. Only join NUS if you want a chill job, work life balance.
