I know an AVP in CAG who gets around 6.8K. So they are not getting astronomical paycheque.

Most of their VP in CAG is >30k. VP there can head a very large operations department (>100) or a medium team of (10-15) technical/engineering specialist.

VP in FI/banks are mostly experienced analyst or small team supervisor roles only.

Does your 4-6 months include or exclude the 13th month?

Interviewed at CAG yesterday and got an email from HR today informing me that they are still in the midst of interviewing and that they will be in touch with me again to notify me of the outcome of my application. Does that mean that I did not get the job? Will they send a formal rejection letter?

U applied for which post?, and how long does it take for them to call u for an interview s9nce u apply?

Approx 2+ to 3 weeks.

U might have a chance to be called up for interview.. but interview time ur on ur own.. screw up and the opportunity is gone...
