that's because you are not a new hire. i have colleagues that joined as a E5 in 2006-2009 with a basic salary of 2.4k-2.8k. After 15 years of 2-4% increment and 3 or 4 promotions from E5 to E6 to M1 to M2, they end up with a basic salary of around 5.2k - 6k. But this year new hire M1 join with 7k-7.5k basic salary, new hire M2 join with 7.5k - 8.5k basic salary.

Not a good company to stay long term. Below market rate. Better to join CS/PS

Those staying salary lower than new hire but HR cannot and won’t even dare to match salary, how to compete even with outside. Heard that one more round of throw letter after July increment.

No wonder people are leaving, salary don’t dare to match yet new hire pay is much more than old birds, who will stay? Not like they cannot offered to match, or those money is parachute, those old bird at lower at E5-E6 either suck thumb or leave.

don't be surprise that there are also many who are easily contended & comfortable type (have a job, low enough salary to sustain their daily life). They are not ambitious and don't chase after the $$.

Retirement Village. Come to work 930 am. Breakfast until 10 am.
Warm seat 1 hour.
Lunch from 1130 am to 130 pm.
Afternoon disappeared to dunno what meeting room.
Nobody can find. 3pm take bag leave office to "customer site".
There is one project manager like this in my division.
And NOBODY can say anything including the division manager.
Cause this guy was recruited by previous BU.
