Hi all. Since it's now 2022 and it's been about 3 years since the last listing (I think under post #259) of salaries of all positions, can we again list down our salaries? I'm really curious how wide the ranges are for the same positions. I shall insert 2 salaries below that I know of. Appreciate if you can list your salary and/or make any adjustments to the ranges below.

The job grade and title is not even correct. There are 2 grades of APE, M1 & M2.

Anyone have any idea what is the increment % this year? I have no idea as my 11% is together with promo from E6 to M1. I want to know how good is the increment they claim it to be.

You've got to be kidding me. I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It's just common sense.

Juz threw letter, increment less than 5% no promotion.
Easiest grade E4 to E5 also cant promote. Although close to 1 person tanking 1 whole entire project with close to no help. |

To be promoted the best strategy is not to have no problem (management then thinks you have nothing to do - even though the project is smooth cause you plan / work aroubd/find solution. To be appreciated, you need to let problem happen and control the narrative. Involve the big boss so they can feel your "leadership". Then listen and yess boss. Then when come time to promote, it\'s not who overtime to solve the problem. It\'s who have been giving constant update on the problem. That\'s why you see alot of staff dint like each other. And not willing to share idea or expertise. Cause you share liao, other people get promoted. Also you work 1 or 2 years can forget about promotion. But if you work like 10++ years you will suddenly be promoted few title in less than 4 years. I have seen ppl promoted from senior engineer to principal engineer within this 5 years. And the senior engineer was complaining that he has been working for 10 years with no promotion. Suddenly covid happened. Now he principal engineer. Also cause alot of people quit. Now he promoted liao, cannot eat lunch with the E5 and E6. Have own office etc. His close colleagues who buddy with him also avoiding him. Different rank. Different group liao |
