ST only says leadership quality. Leadership is our forte who ever have ",
Leadership" will get promoted.
We have 10 leaders and 2 technical staff who really get things done.
And use politics to say the 2 technical staff no leadership.

This is so true. I proposed getting softwares to do automated analysis. The department head rejected the proposal, say no budget and don't waste human capital, use eyes to check. Then my appraisal states "no improvement to workflow".

It was only during my notice period they realise every customer is asking for the automated analysis. They tried to get me to stay (just say only, no offer new package or anything) but I told them no thanks.

hi all. i have been working in STE for 7 years. in the first year my pay was $3.1-3.3k. my pay now is between $5.3-5.6k. taking the difference over the past 7 years, my average increment every year is about $300+. started at E5, now E6.

is this considered average, or no?

this is a waste of time if you are a degree holder. in govt, you would be earning at least 1k more for sure.
