I got 0 aws 0 bonus.
Boss say the new salary scheme already accommodated the aws and bonus inside... Means last year they count like that I didn't get any increment at all last year lol

What's your basic salary? what's your grade?

2 years contract. 3.5k starting fresh grad 2018
2018 = 1 month aws + 1 month bonus. increment 3.5k to 4038.
2019 = 0 aws 0 bonus. 4159 only.

This sucks so much... They want to inflate the base to look like its paying the same as the others... But no bonus... Others still have bonus.

wow you had 500 increment in 2018. Is it conversion to the new salary scheme to add the bonus into the basic salary?

Do you mean Basic pay inclusive AWS+ Bonus for those that are newly join? This is for yearly contract outsource employee?

after the jan 2019 restructure, they put employee's projected bonus into their basic monthly salary.

e.g fresh grad get $3500 salary in 2018 with 2 month bonus + aws on average =

($3500 x 12) + $3500(aws) + $3500 x 2 (bonus) = $52k annual + stock options + national day bonus

Now after the 2019 restructure, they put your bonus into your monthly salary to make it look like they are pacing the gov sector or paying market rate but actually they are short changing their engineers even more

2019 = $3700 x 12 + 0.5months to 2 month(2019 bonus) = $47k to $51k annual with no stock and no aws and no national day bonus

lots of people forced to leave and was converted to contract role instead

They convert perm staff to contract?

All I can say is this new HR or management failed. Why some staff still in old scheme. Some new scheme so unfair one.

Confirmed is no more AWS, they say still have performance bonus.
But from the look of it. Some get nothing. Some get 0.5. Some still get their 2 months bonus.

Dunno its new "bonus" scheme or because of covid or because of bad grade.
In this midst of chaos, nobody knows.

Did you get the job? What grade were you offered. B grade range?

Working in STE for 2 years as perm staff.

B5 non-executive grade. Still receiving AWS & PB (non-executive graders not effected by the new change) but then again, doesn't make much of a difference.

I've just obtained my Diploma,any idea what's the possibility of a promotion and into which E grade? Also, the pay scale range.

New scheme is easily 4.6k - 5.2k with different exp levels but no aws no stock

Lol. Recently they offer me a perm role, also told me no aws no stock and still shortage of $200 than what I expected. Considering accept or not

But perm staff still got the PB.

So ST trying to march their salary with competitors... But competitors got 2 to 3 months bonus lol.
