Relocating from Bangkok for an IT Director position in Citibank Singapore. What is the typical base salary and bonus?

Unregistered 29-07-2013 09:29 AM

Monthly basic ~35k +/- depending on experience. Bonus for BO not very high, director usually 6-8 mths.

Coming from Bangkok, my current comp is probably half of that. Does Citi adjust compensation based on baseline in country or x% from employee's previous comp?

Anybody knows what is the hierarchy for Citibank Singapore employees?

Is it Associate > Asst Mgr > Mgr > Senior Mgr > AVP > VP?

This pay seems very off, for Citi O&T. This seems more like a MD basic pay. O&T definitely do not get 6 - 8 months bonus.

I just got offered by Citibank (Asst Mgr) and Deutsche Bank (Associate) and cant really decide which is better in terms of prospects. The nature of both roles is largely the same and it's in the middle office. I have heard some saying that European banks have not really recovered from the financial crisis in 08/09 and American banks are more stable. Is that true? Would like to hear some opinions! Thanks!

Citi Full-time Analyst (Management Associate)

Hi guys, I received the offer for the analyst program but I've yet to sign any papers. Wondering if the duration is common. Anyone can share their current onboarding status?

Lots of girls being hired into SA class (majority of the tech summer analyst in 2018 were girls). Conversion rates are also higher than all other bulge brackets tech jobs. (>75%)

Full time 2 year MA program. But you only rotate within O&T. But you still have to partake in all the CCA stuff all MAs are made to join. Organize global community day etc.

Similar to DBS, Cross-Franchise MA program has been scrapped. They now hire specifically into each function. Do not know the conversion rate for guys (there weren't many to begin with in 2018)

That depends. Generally they're known to be very strategic with their process (regardless of division) - you might be a waiting list candidate they're holding out on until they find someone better. They rather leave headcounts blank then hire sub-par candidates and then get scolded by senior management.

Good Luck!

MBAs aren't a sign of intellectual prowess anyway. But yes you need a master's degree these days if you want a job that isn't you selling insurance or being a cabin crew. Get with the times or get left behind

Don't worry, Citi HR has more than your offer to process. With Citi being such a huge organisation, red tape and internal approvals will probably determine when you will get the papers. If its been two weeks, why not just reach out to your recruiter for a timeline in a well-mannered way? Its reasonable to ask and check for updates after 2 weeks of wait. Good luck!

During the course of the 2-years analyst program, what’s the average bonus and annual increment (if any?). How is the progression like after the 2-years?
