7.5k after 8 years is not fantastic. Do you mind sharing where did you start off as?

Maybe cos my previous salary quite low. So I think they still offer you based on your previous salary although they say won’t take your previous salary as benchmark.

Unregistered 22-05-2021 10:07 AM

Got offered sr programmer analyst role, 9.5K. Is it a good offer? I hv 10+ years experience btw.

Not saying it’s bad, but definitely not impressive. At age 32/33 (assuming male with NS), some degree holders are already in a managerial position (VP in the banking industry) drawing >9k/10k

Anyone know does Citi require your current payslip for your application?

How much is the incremental and bonus pa respectively in Citi?

Unregistered 30-06-2021 02:14 PM

any one has any idea if it is easy to do internal transfer/hiring in Citibank to another dept? If I join the company doing settlements, is it easy to move to other functions such as risk or treasury in the future? or would it be better for me to join other banks under contract role for risk/treasury?

Risk or treasury from settlement dept? No chance. Zlitch. You need experience to go risk or treasury.

What's the pay range like for business analyst or equivalent back office function avp?

Unregistered 02-09-2021 05:10 PM

C16 level

Currently interviewing for a C16 grade position. Any recommendations about the base salary I should be negotiating for? I come from a local bank so the bonuses are quite different.

Unregistered 20-09-2021 10:08 PM

Hi all, I’m a mid-career applicant who just got offered a role that is situated somewhere in between MO and BO. Read through the thread and it sounds like progression is slow in Citi. What happens if I get stuck at the same rank (VP/SVP) for many years and remain there till retirement? Will I keep getting salary increments every year? Or will I eventually hit a pay cap and no more increments till I get promoted.

Just got into a c11 role in BO recently at 95k+/- p/a with 3+ years exp.
Not sure what’s the avg like for similar exp but it seems a little higher than the ones from TA/MA program track.

Can anyone share how the progression is like to AVP(C12) onwards?

Unregistered 24-09-2021 05:47 PM

C9/10 Benefit

Hi, anyone able to share what are the benefits of BO ranked C9-10

Anyone knows entry level product manager salary?

Unregistered 28-09-2021 02:00 AM

Anyone can advise if I should take on a BO manager position in Citi or Risk management in CCB? Both paygrade is around 5-6k.

5 to 6k is more like fresh grad salary. Your manager role sounds like an inflated title

You need to work at least 2 years in order for transfer.
Are you referring to the support team of risk and treasury? For treasury, you need to obtain some cert and have experience.

You have 0 chance of going into risk management without relevant experience and/or ability to read financial statements

Unregistered 21-10-2021 12:34 PM

Anyone can kindly enlighten me on the culture and their views on Citi fresh graduate Full Time analyst programs such a Global Consumer Technology, ICG Technology Software Development and ICG Technology Production Support.

How true is it, that in 2 years, you will graduate from the program? Any idea on the year on year pay increment and is this program a fast track program to higher positions?

Thank you in advance!

What about Treasury dealing? What would be the requirements?

lmao CCB. I always like telling people that they are a China Construction Bank for the lulz.

On a more serious note, just apply what you can and get a pay jump, i guess you can't be choosey during these times.

Between the Citi Technology Analyst Program and DBS SEED program, which is a better choice? Pay difference is roughly $400 from the start.

How is the salary increment within Citi? Bonus etc?

And career progression wise?

Take the Citi offer. The opportunities at Citi should be better and the Tech Analyst Prog has better exit opps to other tech functions within Citi.

Does anyone know which divisions are based in Changi Business Park and which are at the CBD? Thinking of accepting a FT offer but I'm thinking that CBP might be a bit too far to commute..

Nah, it should be more equivalent to senior manager if your are talking about pay and rank in the engineering world.
