Thank you for your reply. Good to note that I won't be hitting the pay ceiling anytime soon. It allows for more MI. Having said that, would it be convenient for you to let me know the range for LTEG9 please? So that I can have some sort of a rough idea.

G9 is revised upwards 5%

Thank you! I assume you're in LTA now? I have an offer on hand. But I haven't accepted it. I keep hearing horror stories abt LTA, and how the turnover is very high. Even the interviewers kept harping on that. My colleague (who was from LTA) also keeps telling me that LTA is not the place to be. These horror stories are holding me back.

Yea the turnover rate is quite high. don't go to local company to work as they are a turnover rate high and do a double jobs.

I rather u go to US MNC as they have a good work-life balance unless you really chase for money and no work life at all.

For myself, I die die won't join Local company forever as i experience the culture suck and need to do those stupid CCA

Yes turn over rate is high due to burn out and constant night works. You’re also sacrificing WLB immensely for a somewhat average/mediocre pay, which are crucial factors employees are considering nowadays. Many also left because they are stuck at the same grade for a long time and see no way out, and feel that it’s scholars’ playground. Lastly, there’s very little transferable skills in our line of work (more like a generalist overseeing project progress) and hence those who can leave will leave early to avoid being trapped here forever skill wise.
