fresh grad here, secure job 1 month ago in semicon, and 1 month after 2nd interview with rail side, suddenly now got verbal offer. Pay is 300-400 higher due to my honours, but hr said role is 3yr contract. If no renew jump where? cuz i heard rail quite niche. semicon can always jump other semicon coys.

Rail will be relevant in Singapore till 2040 at least. So for you at least till your 40s. Maybe can work in SBS or SBST as retirement job.

For semi con you will get sacked in your late 40s if you haven’t rose the ranks
