The HR probably pegged to your last drawn pay and offer you ~13% increment which is not unusual.
If you prefered WLB, i would take this offer compared to grinding in Big 4.

I'm not OP but were you from big 4 as well or were you drawing a high salary? Did you get an increment or cut when you joined MAS?

5 years experience joining as AD2 is above average I would think, since assoc is usually 3 years and AD1 is another 3 years on average. Do correct me if I'm wrong

Drawing about 5.5 in a ministry. Not much relevant experience.

Ministry all in including AWS is about 16 months package on average
5.5*16= 88K

MAS all in is about 14 month package on average
7.2K*14=100.8K

You got a 15% increment.

Usually how many years of exp for pte sector mid hire to join as AD2?

Is it difficult for mid joiner to get post-grad sponsorship? Any mid joiner managed to do it?
