Director only for the hand picked ones. Majority end up as dd

Not true based on my exp. DD is more common but definitely not the majority, out of the whole deg career stream I would say only abt 1/4 get promoted to DD in the end.

What?!?! You mean there's the possibility of being an assistant director from start to finish?! Zero promotion is insane.

Dats bcos many got tired of waiting and left for the greener pastures of corporate world. Usually the younger peeps. The super old birds, who stay long enough, eventually got their dd. Mid career hires progression is not sped up just becoz they r more experienced...

How long did they take to inform you of the offer after your final interview?

Verbal indicative offer, next working day.
Final black&white offer takes about 2-3 weeks.
