I wasn’t aware that AD2 salary cap was $11k. If they don’t see you up enough to promote to DD1 (which is not all that senior), why wouldn’t they try to get rid of you (otherwise known as managing out) to free the headcount? Or do you mean that when they see their peers move ahead of them most people would have too much pride to stay on as a super senior AD even with comfortable salary - so will leave before reaching salary cap?

Some don’t care about increment or promotion. They just want to have a 9-5 job and can get salary every month without putting much effort on hardwork. As long as per hour rate is high… that’s it

I'm curious as well, when can an AD2 expect to hit 11k assuming he doesn't get promoted to DD1 in the process? Any ball park age to share?
