5 years of working experience is about AD1 title. My guess is they will try to lowball cause 7K is is probably at the high end of AD1. Go for intw and see loh. Got many other factors at play such as your current title etc would could maybe give u a bump to AD2 (e.g. you are already a AVP at a bank etv)

Thanks for sharing. Are you familiar with whats the rough pay range of AD2? I wonder whether I would qualify for AD2 if I only have ~5 YOE. I understand for ppl who are already in MAS, you qualify for promotion to the next level after staying for a certain # of years.

In reality the above is a joke. If the boss likes you even if your work is crap, can get promoted in 1 year. If the boss just dont like your face, you produce quality work also wont get you anywhere
Everywhere is the same

The long story short is that this is a black box. The hiring manager/department head has to assess how valuable your work experience and how much they need someone like you. If you bring a skillset that is super in-demand, you can possibly get AD2. But if your skillset is nothing special (or not even relevant to the role), they might haircut your working experience. Impossible to tell one.

Sounds like my friend, he is AVP5 in a bank’s MA program after 5 years, and then came in as AD grade 11

Ravi already say that MAS is benchmark to 75% of private sector. So how to give everyone higher than what they earning currently + promotion when they join.

What is AD Grade 11? Is that the lower or higher of the AD?
