Can't speak for others comments. Factual descriptions neither fake nor exaggerated.

Labelling as unhappy, calculative and whatnot are the easy power trip way that do nothing to make issues disappear.

If anyone really interested in change (which many are, just change desired may be different), then have a regular douse of self awareness, maintain open mind and ask right questions. Speak to the right people if possible.

If whatever perceived wrong or wrongs not made right, it don't change however many otherwise good folks driven out the door.

Who's trying to be hero, its tuff enough tryin to deal with wannabe heros.

thought about joining mas as I am told that it is a diverse organization and plenty of opportunities to learn.

but i am not sure what does different department do. was told there is a dev side, the reg side, policy side, tech side etc.

how is working in one of this side like? what can you learn after in of the side for 2-3 years?

Maybe not, but if they work long enough to TL can guess base on your grade, number of years ezperience and other factors include wht others with similar are paid.

And your div hd should also know, so unless div hd no tok to anyone, not likely secret.

U are one of the rare job seekers who focus on learning and not bread butter issues like pay, surrounding work culture and career prospexts. This is good, what bosses like

What you will learn is outline in s4 of mas act depend on which part of the mandate you're intereste to learn bout. The rest up to variables e.g. who and what is available to guide you in the team and department with a headcount for u.

Also whether your qualification is more suited for generalist or specialist function. There is also corporate and legal side that importantly supports rest of org.

Will being a TL add any monetary value?

Curious if a AD (TL) or DD (TL) is paid more than their non-TL counterpart of similar background and experience

If they are higher AD or DD grade then yes.

Read previous pages on different pay scale for different AD / DD grades.

But more work for a bit more pay, weigh pros and cons yourself.
